The EIU Paintball Team is in it's second year as a registered student organization and NCPA recognized team. The club is still experiencing unprecedented growth and success in the realm of collegiate paintball. A proud member of the NCPA, the EIU paintball team plays with the Best of the Best in college paintball and competes on a national level with schools across the United States.

EIU is back from an astonishing first year as the 2007 AA Nationals Champions. The team ended the 2007 season by taking a trip to Dallas TX to compete against the best Collegiate Teams in the nation and ended up beating over 30 national collegiate teams in Dallas when they took the cup! Ending the season finishing 8th overall in AA, EIU hopes to come back this season and be #1.

The roster is currently 20 members deep but continues to look for new talent. Due to the fact that the organization is relatively new it is also relatively unknown and thus it's members continue to spread the word on campus. The current members are passionate just not about the competitive side of paintball but also about seeing the sport grow in a national and even global sense. It is this philosophy that also helps the organization to progress at a rapid pace.

Members believe in the core values that make the sport great, such as integrity, teamwork and good sportsmanship. As an organization we try and represent our school in the best way possible, not only by winning but by exhibiting high morale thread and scholarly excelence. Members are devoted to becoming better players by honing their skills with weekly practice and scrimages whenever possible.This one of a kind student organization looks forward to becoming a key player in the recruitment of paintball talent to EIU as well as promoting increasing awareness of the sport.
